What I Offer
Font-End Development
Front-end Development is my passion. I love being able to combine design and development together to create websites that serve as both a functional element and a great design. I love working in this forever changing field and try to keep up to date with all the latest developments.
Web & Interface Design
My roots are in Web & Graphic Design. It is what sparked my interest for all things design and web related. I believe to be a great web developer you need to have a good understanding of design and the user experience. The art of combining this with smooth back-end functionality is something that goes so unnoticed but can make all the difference.
Back-End Development
Over the past few years working as a developer I have been expanding my knowledge of back-end software on the web. A lot of projects I have been involved in included server-side work and databases. I have also helped setting up data-structure and the the creation of CMS systems.

Potency 2014 - 2015
Redesign of the website for a business management company. The original website was very out of date and restricted potential clients from accessing information on the business. I recreated the website into a responsive design that could be easily accessed on all platforms.

Perfect Life Source 2014
Website design and development for a start-up company who create health products. The company is located in the U.S.A so the design and development of the website was all done through online correspondence. This increased my skills in using only written communication and showing my concepts and development through email only.

Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology 2012
While I was studying at the polytechnic, I was chosen to create peer support classes in Dreamweaver and web design. I felt like my level of knowledge in Dreamweaver and HTML was high enough to teach to first year students, however it also encouraged me to keep learning myself so I could teach even more.

I studied for 3 years in Christchurch to complete a Bachelor of Visual Communications. A large focus of my degree was on Graphic Design, however in my final year I feel in love with the web and began coding. Since graduating I followed my passion for coding and have been self teaching myself ever since.

I am currently working as a Web Developer for Woof Creative. My role in this position is mainly focused on front-end construction and updates of clients websites. However the job also includes a lot of back-end debugging and database work.

Website design and development for a start-up business in Port Douglas, Australia. Currently working to incorporate the website design with an E Commerce shop for her large number of cliental and expanding range of products.

Louise Anderson Bridal Design 2012 - 2014
This involved the redesign of a bridal gown website. Working for Louise enhanced my communication skills as I learnt how to listen and be understanding of others opinions and ideas. This was my first formal web design job I received in my final year and continued doing constant updates and modifications to the site.
